History Our family has been producing Champagne for several generations. It Is not possible to mention the name of the village of Louvois without alluding to the castle situated opposite the house of Champagne Guy de Chassey. It was built at the beginning of the 12th century and was owned by Gaucher de Chatillon, the first lord of Louvois.

Our village, Louvois, is well-known because it’s a 100 % Grand Cru classified wine area, and only 17 villages in the Champagne region got such a distinction. Our vineyards are South, South-East exposed and the soil is a mix of clay and limestone. This wine is the fruit of a blending of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay selected on our terroir Grand Cru classified. On a beautiful and generous effervescence, the white foam of this Champagne contrasts with an amber colour. The De Chassey family house is located in the village of Louvois which has 100% Grand Cru status. This Champagne is hand-made at every step from a tiny 11 hectares of vines. A finely structured blend that has a bit of everything: zesty apple and citrus fruit, balanced by richer, toasted brioche flavours.
